The municipality of Estepona is making progress in the final stages of the coastal corridor project by awarding the construction of a new section in Bahía Dorada. This new pathway will link two existing walkways in the area with a 168-meter long wooden pedestrian walkway. The main focus is on enhancing public space, improving accessibility, and integrating the coastline into the landscape. LED lighting will be installed for safety at night, without causing glare. The project, costing 229,137 euros, includes the construction of a wooden deck path supported by porticoes on concrete footings and wooden piles, depending on the terrain conditions. The municipal council aims to promote sustainable and accessible mobility by developing the coastal corridor as a key element in urban and tourist transformation.
