An exhibition titled ‘More was lost in Cuba, Homage to Aldo Menéndez’, featuring works from the collection of Jorge Reynardus, will be on display at Casa de Las Tejerinas from March 18 to May 3. Estepona City Hall has announced that the exhibition will highlight contemporary art by artists from the 1980s generation in Cuba, many of whom now reside in the U.S., Spain, and Mexico. The showcase, curated by Jorge Reynardus, pays tribute to Aldo Menendez, a pioneering figure in Hispanic advertising and a prominent collector of Cuban art. The exhibition aims to foster cultural exchange between Estepona and other art-loving communities. Notable artists featured in the exhibition include Aldito Menendez, Arturo Cuenca, Pepe Franco, Yovani Bauta, Leandro Soto, and many more. Visitors can explore the diverse artworks until May 3, with free access on Tuesdays to Fridays from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
