The workshop on ‘Desire Garden’ will take place at Estepona Library on October 15. The following day, literature and music will blend together with the introduction of Pedro Villarejo’s book ‘Light of Lip with the Kiss Inside’. On October 21, the library’s book club will focus on ‘The Anomaly’ by Hervé Le Tellier. A highlight of the month is the V International Poetry Prize Ciudad de Estepona on October 23, where Julia Viejo’s ‘Mineral Nests’ will be recognized. The day will conclude with a concert by Abraham Boba. For those interested, on October 24, Jordi Moltó from ‘El Hormiguero’ will discuss the show’s viral videos. The month ends with a tribute to Robert Redford on the 28th and a children’s workshop on ‘A treasure full of words’ on the 30th. November will start with the presentation of ‘Hypothesis Street’ by Francisco García Castro, followed by a tribute to Rainer Werner Fassbinder on the 11th. On November 13, the children’s workshop ‘A treasure full of words’ will be back. Artist Sonia Salmerón will lead an illustration and engraving workshop titled ‘Techniques for narrating without words’ on November 15. The month continues with various literary activities and workshops, culminating in a celebration of the Library’s first anniversary on November 27 with Elvira Lindo and Alondra Bentley. December will feature the presentation of ‘The Uruguayan’ by Pedro Mairal on the 16th, a cultural journalism workshop by Braulio Ortiz Poole on the 17th, and the presentation of ‘Men who say hallelujah’ on the 18th. All events are free, with registration required for courses and workshops. The Estepona Library, inaugurated in November 2024, has become a leading cultural space, hosting a wide range of activities and promoting free access to culture.
