Potential candidates have the chance to submit their proposals electronically through the Public Sector Procurement Platform by 2 p.m. on January 19, 2026. The Estepona City Council has announced the tender for the concession and management of five new booths in the Fair and Sports Park. The goal is to enhance the infrastructure of Estepona’s fairgrounds to accommodate the annual fairs and festivals held in the city. Moreover, the plan is to utilize a significant portion of the area to provide additional recreational amenities throughout the year. Interested parties must present their bids for the booth concession by the specified deadline. The concession process will involve five plots, with varying sizes ranging from 99.92 to 144.90 square meters. The new booths will be constructed on-site and are required to have two floors. The concession period will extend up to 40 years, with annual fees starting from 3,138.49 euros. The selection of concessionaires will be based on the submitted proposals, with a draw in case of a tie. Each bidder can only secure one booth, even if they apply for multiple. Certain restrictions apply, such as current booth concessionaires or their stakeholders not being eligible to participate in the bidding. The chosen bidder will be responsible for maintaining the facilities in good condition throughout the concession term, covering all necessary repairs and upkeep costs without financial assistance from the Town Council.
