The urban areas and neighborhoods of Estepona have been adorned with a total of 16,000 cyclamens and 7,000 Easter trees as part of an extraordinary planting of ornamental flowers for the holiday season. The City Council of Estepona has carried out this initiative to enhance the beauty of public green spaces in both the city and its outskirts. Deputy mayor Blas Ruzafa, responsible for Services and External Control, highlighted the special effort to decorate with flowers during Christmas, creating a festive and enjoyable atmosphere for residents and visitors alike. This floral decoration not only adds to the holiday spirit but also boosts commercial activity in the city. The colorful specimens have been strategically placed in various locations such as main avenues like Avenida Litoral, busy roads like Andalusia, Spain, or Juan Carlos I, as well as central areas like Terraza Street and Plaza Antonia Guerrero. Even neighborhoods and residential areas have received this decorative touch. Mayor emphasized that this floral enhancement extends to recently remodeled urban spaces, enhancing the city’s image and charm during the festive season. Ruzafa noted that these beautification efforts help create a welcoming and festive environment, encouraging citizens to enjoy Estepona, take leisurely walks, and support local businesses during Christmas.
