On October 11, the Mirador del Carmen in Estepona will be the venue for the Latin Culture Day, a joyful event showcasing the cultural, artistic, and gastronomic diversity of Latin America. This celebration is part of the ‘Sharing Cultures’ program organized by the Estepona City Council, as well as the special activities of ‘Estepona lives its streets’ event in autumn. From October 10 to 12, the city will come alive with cultural performances, music, and culinary delights, highlighting the rich heritage of Latin American communities living in Estepona. With over 135 nationalities residing in the city, including nearly 4,000 from Latin countries, events like this promote unity, mutual understanding, and appreciation for shared traditions and values. The Latin Culture Day will feature live music, artisanal crafts, and a feast of dishes from Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Argentina, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic, among others. Attendees can look forward to folkloric dance performances, concerts, DJ sets, and even a Latin dance contest with exciting prizes. Estepona City Council encourages both residents and visitors to join in this celebration, which aims to create connections, foster cultural exchange, and build a stronger community through the universal languages of art, music, and cuisine.
