The celebration of the Day of France and Francophone Culture in Estepona is organized by the Alliance Française and the City Council, offering a diverse program of cultural and gastronomic activities. This event will feature music, workshops, tastings, and traditional activities like petanque. Estepona City Council announced that the city will welcome the celebration for the second time, starting from November 19 until December 2. The initiative is part of the ‘Sharing Cultures’ project, aiming to integrate the French-speaking community of more than 1,800 residents. The activities are designed to showcase French, Belgian, and Swiss culture, coinciding with the ‘Beaujolais Nouveau’ festival celebrating the harvest of young red wine from Burgundy. The program includes an exhibition, film screenings, petanque competition, a Grand Francophone Market with gastronomic delights, live music performances, storytelling for children, and more, creating a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere to enjoy the richness of French culture.
