Planned in Nueva Atalaya, the new facilities will complement the existing paddle tennis court and multi-sports court in the area. The Estepona City Council has announced the tender for the construction of two additional paddle tennis courts in the Nueva Atalaya area, located on the outskirts of the city. This initiative is in line with the city’s dedication to expanding the network of free outdoor sports facilities, promoting sports and healthy lifestyle habits among residents. Spanning approximately 400 square meters, the new courts will enhance the current sports offerings, providing more opportunities for paddle tennis enthusiasts in Estepona. With a budget of 133,255 euros (VAT included) and a three-month completion timeline, the project aims to diversify sports options, revitalize the area, and foster social integration through sports. This endeavor is part of the city’s efforts to equip suburban neighborhoods with modern and practical infrastructures, ensuring equitable access to sports for the well-being of the community. By emphasizing physical activity as a key component of a healthy lifestyle, the municipality aims to enhance social cohesion and sustainable development.
