This event, which is free and open to the public, aims to increase awareness, visibility, and encourage social involvement in the fight against human trafficking for sexual exploitation, a problem that also has local implications. The target audience includes professionals from fields such as education, social services, healthcare, law, business, and law enforcement, as well as the general public. The morning session will cover key topics such as understanding the reality of trafficking for sexual exploitation in the Costa del Sol region, the underlying causes of trafficking, its connection to the consumption of prostitution and pornography, and the roles that institutions, businesses, and civil society should play in its eradication.
