Between September 26 and 28, the city will be the venue for this event, which also includes the 27th Meeting of Young Cruisers. Estepona is set to welcome a thousand brothers and sisters from various parts of the country this weekend on the occasion of the 40th National Pilgrimage of Brotherhoods and Confraternities of the Vera Cruz, along with the 27th Meeting of Young Cruisers. These two significant events for the different brotherhoods and fraternities are held annually at a different location in the country. The Mayor, José María García Urbano, expressed gratitude to the Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of the Vera+Cruz of Estepona for their efforts in securing the city as the host for this pilgrimage and national meeting of young cruisers. The mayor emphasized the significance of these gatherings, bringing together thousands of people to experience the welcoming city with a high quality of life and numerous attractions. The planned program for the pilgrimage includes various fraternity activities among the visiting brotherhoods and events to showcase Estepona’s attractions. The itinerary features visits to significant points of interest, a round table discussion, and a musical concert to enhance the experience for the participants.
