The presentation of the novel is scheduled for the upcoming Friday, November 21, at 9:00 p.m., and will be open to the public until the venue reaches full capacity. Estepona City Council has announced that the event will take place at the Assembly Hall of the Exhibition and Congress Palace. Sergio Bazán Peña, a local author from Estepona, will introduce his second novel titled ‘Thirty of February and One of March’. The book, published by ExLibric, is set in the early 21st century and follows the protagonist, Agapito, as he navigates various sporting events and forms unexpected friendships along the way. Accompanying Bazán Peña at the presentation will be Juan Antonio Moreno Infantes, who wrote the prologue, Raquel Mendez, the illustrator of the book cover, and Begoña Ortiz, the Councillor for Citizen Participation, who will lead the book introduction. Sergio Bazán Peña, born on August 16, 1974, holds a degree in Business Administration and Management and currently works as a tax advisor. He discovered his passion for writing during his university years and has since authored several works, including two comedy plays and a collection of phrases for coffee shop sugar sachets. ‘Thirty of February and One of March’ is his latest literary creation, which he submitted for the 2019 Novel Prize ‘City of Estepona’. The novel was written within the 80-day submission period for the competition.
