Literature and music will come together on October 16 to present Pedro Villarejo’s book ‘Light of lip with the kiss inside’. The day before, on October 15, the ‘Garden of Desires’ Film Workshop will take place. Following that, on October 21, the library’s book club will focus on ‘The Anomaly’ by Hervé Le Tellier, a prominent European publishing phenomenon. A highlight of the month will be the V International Poetry Prize Ciudad de Estepona ceremony on October 23, featuring the winning work ‘Mineral Nests’ by poet Julia Viejo, followed by a concert by Abraham Boba from Leon Benavente. For those interested, on October 24, Jordi Moltó from ‘El Hormiguero’ will discuss the program’s viral videos. The month will end with a tribute to Robert Redford on the 28th and a children’s workshop titled ‘A treasure full of words’ on the 30th. November will kick off with the presentation of ‘Hypothesis Street’ by Francisco García Castro, followed by a tribute to Rainer Werner Fassbinder on the 11th. The month will also feature workshops, such as ‘Techniques for narrating without words’ by Sonia Salmerón and ‘Everything will be field: planting ideas, watering words’ by poet Angelo Nestore. Additionally, the library’s reading club will delve into ‘Claus and Lucas’ by Agota Kristof. November will conclude with a celebration of the Library’s first anniversary on the 27th, featuring a meeting with Elvira Lindo and a concert by Alondra Bentley. December will see Argentine writer Pedro Mairal presenting ‘The Uruguayan’ on the 16th, followed by workshops and presentations by Braulio Ortiz Poole on the 17th and 18th.
