A series of informative conferences organized by the Naturalist Group Sierra Bermeja, Grunsber, and the City Council of Estepona will take place from November 21 to December 18. The topics covered will include entomology, geology, ornithology, botany, and the depletion of natural resources. Additionally, a guided hiking route through Sierra Bermeja will be offered on November 29, with prior registration required at info@grunsber.org. The conferences aim to raise awareness about the unique ecosystem of Sierra Bermeja and environmental issues. Sierra Bermeja is known for its serpentine ecosystems, including the only Spanish fir forest on peridotites. The program includes lectures on entomology, geology, ornithology, and botany, as well as a special presentation on degrowth and collapse. Experts in each field will share their knowledge and insights during the series of events.
