The Padre Manuel Cultural Center facilities are being used by the Consistory to offer internationally recognized French language courses for the ninth consecutive year. Enrollees in classroom courses from July 1 to 10 can avail a 50 euro discount. Estepona’s City Council and the Alliance Française of Malaga have announced their collaboration to promote French language education in the city through various courses, workshops, and cultural activities. Nearly 900 students of all ages have benefited from this initiative since it began in 2017. The upcoming courses, starting from October 6 to January 27 for adults and until June for children and teenagers, will include classes twice a week for adults and once a week for younger students, each lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes. A new class for 4-5 year old French-speaking children will be introduced to support language development in a foreign setting. In addition to face-to-face classes at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center, online courses will also be available. Discounts are offered to groups in need, and early registrants from July 1 to 10 will receive a 50 euro discount on annual courses for children and teenagers, as well as four-month courses for adults. The Alliance Française will also continue to provide courses at IES Mediterráneo of Estepona for official exam preparation. The organization will conduct official exams for adults in September and for ESO and high school students in October, with specialized courses offered for exam preparation from November to February. These exams are recognized internationally and are the only ones of their kind in the province of Malaga. Additionally, the Alliance Française will organize cultural events throughout the year, including monthly French film screenings at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center.
