The registration period for the upcoming event, scheduled for May 4, will remain open until April 30. A new feature for this edition is that the race will be live streamed. Luis Gil, from the Sports delegation, José Juárez, the race’s technical director, and Janet González, representing the hotel IKOS Andalusia, have announced the opening of registrations for the IV Half Marathon Senda Litoral de Estepona ‘Ikos Andalusia Trophy’. The event will take place on Sunday, May 4, and is organized by the Consistory and the Club Atletismo Estepona. Registrations will be accepted until 14.00 on April 30 through the website https://faalive.com/calendarbd/current. The registration fee is 18 ¤ for the first 200 participants, 22 ¤ for those who register before April 13, and 27 ¤ from April 14 to 30, or until the maximum of 700 participants is reached. Various categories are available, including U-20, U-23, Senior, and Master M-35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, and 70+. There is also a category for individuals with functional diversity who can demonstrate a minimum disability of 33 percent. The race, covering a distance of 21.097 kilometers, will commence at 09.00 from the street Montemayor of Cancelada, near the Tenencia de Alcaldía. The route will pass through urban areas and along the Coastal Path, reaching the Estepona Promenade and the Fishing Port. The course continues along several streets and ends at the Athletics Stadium. Security measures will be in place throughout the event, with checkpoints, refreshment points, and transportation arrangements for participants.
