Starting from May 29 to June 11, the Casa de Las Tejerinas will be presenting the exhibition ‘Meninas’ by the talented painter Carmen Gómez Orta. The exhibition, showcasing a blend of real and abstract compositions, covers a wide range of themes such as bullfighting, nature, daily life, portraiture, and the sea, all expertly crafted by the Huelva artist. Visitors can enjoy the artwork from Tuesday to Friday, between 9:00 and 20:00, and on Saturdays from 9:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00, with free entry. Carmen Gómez Orta, a renowned plastic artist from Huelva, has over forty years of experience in the field, with a unique style that combines technical precision with a deep emotional connection. Her work has been showcased in various national and international exhibitions, including prestigious venues like Casa Colón in Huelva and the Ateneo de Sevilla. Recognized for her exceptional talent, she has received accolades such as the Fine Arts Award from the City Council of Aljaraque in March 2025.
