The City Council of Estepona has announced that the XI Cheese Festival Popi Sabor a Málaga, organized in collaboration with the professional ham cutter José María Téllez ‘Popi’ and with the support of Diputación de Málaga under the ‘Sabor a Málaga’ brand, will take place from December 12 to 14 in the Paseíllo de la calle Real. This event aims to showcase the exceptional quality and variety of cheeses and dairy products offered by the participating companies, with 80% of them originating from the province of Malaga. The presence of ‘Sabor a Málaga’ alongside gourmet products from both national and international sources enhances the brand’s reputation for quality among consumers and serves as a promotional platform for the municipality. Over thirty producers will present their products at the fair, including a diverse selection of cheeses and dairy items. While cheese will be the main attraction, visitors can also explore a range of other products such as nuts, wine, olive oil, olives, pickles, and pâtés, transforming the event into a true gastronomic market.
