On Saturday, June 21 at 21:00 hours, the Plaza Ntra. Sra. del Carmen will host the summer concert of the Magnum Mysterium Choir titled ‘Sound of the Waves’. The performance will feature soloist Isabel Moreno and pianist Brigitta Kovács. Led by Miguel Ángel Garrido Sánchez, the choir will present a diverse program including works by renowned composers. The Magnum Mysterium Choir, formerly known as ‘Villa de Estepona’, has been a staple of Estepona’s musical scene for over three decades. Founded in 1987, the choir started as a Chamber Choir specializing in classical polyphony but has since expanded its repertoire to include a wide range of musical styles. In 1992, it became a non-profit Cultural Association dedicated to promoting quality choral music. The choir has performed across Spain, participated in international competitions, and received prestigious awards for its musical excellence. Miguel Ángel Garrido Sánchez, the choir’s conductor, is a respected figure in the world of polyphonic choral music and continues to inspire with his passion and expertise.
