The Summer Book Fair commenced on the 18th and will be held at the Paseo Marítimo until September 14th, with operating hours from 11:00 to 14:30 and 19:00 to 24:00, featuring daily book signings by local authors. Estepona’s City Council has announced that Estepona native author Antonio Mena will introduce his new literary creation ‘The Fire Cage’ on Friday, July 25th, at 21:00, as part of the XXX Summer Book Fair taking place at the Paseo Marítimo. The event is organized by ‘Urbano Libros’ in collaboration with the local government. Antonio Mena González, a journalist and writer born in Estepona in October 1961, has worked with various media outlets and is currently part of the Town Planning Department at Estepona Town Hall. He has a number of published works, including short stories such as ‘Between Hell and Hope’ (2021) and ‘The Seven Towers and Other Tales’ (2023), along with poetry books like ‘I Stole a Kiss from You in the Rain’ (2023) and ‘The Station of Forgotten Hearts’ (2024), among others. The XXX Summer Book Fair will offer a wide selection of titles at affordable prices until September 14th, operating from 11:00 to 14:30 and 19:00 to 24:00. Additionally, author signings will take place daily at 21:00 on the Paseo Marítimo. Various authors are scheduled for different dates throughout July, August, and September.
