The presentation of the book ‘Strolling through Estepona’ will be held on August 14 at 9:00 pm as part of the XXX Summer Book Fair at the Paseo Marítimo. Written by local authors Andrés Cintrano Fernández and Francisco Medina Infantes, with photos by Juan Ordóñez Bazán, this book is the second installment of the ‘History of Estepona for Solidarity’ collection. It delves into the history of Estepona’s town center, tracing its evolution from medieval times to present day, clarifying street names and documenting changes over the years with nearly 200 images. The proceeds from the book sales will be donated to the CUDECA Foundation, known for providing professional care to individuals battling cancer and other advanced diseases. This initiative, led by a group of friends, aims to raise funds for local NGOs, following the success of their first book which supported the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Estepona. The XXX Summer Book Fair, which began on July 18, will continue on the Paseo Marítimo until September 14, featuring daily book signings by local authors.
