A project has been initiated by the City Council to expand the exhibition area of the Municipal Archaeological Museum by creating additional rooms on the upper level. These new spaces will showcase numerous artifacts dating back to prehistoric, Roman, and Islamic eras that were previously kept in storage due to space constraints. The museum’s refurbishment will also involve renovations to the central courtyard, carpentry, flooring, stairs, and the installation of an elevator.
