The winter cycle will come to a close next Thursday, March 6th, as the Estepona City Council’s Cine-Club presents the 2023 American film ‘The Color Purple’. Directed by Blitz Bazawule and based on the novel by Alicia Walker, this dramatic story follows the struggles of an African-American woman in the early 20th century American South. Starring Taraji P. Henson, Danielle Brooks, and others, this bold new adaptation promises a captivating experience. The screening, starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center, will be in English with Spanish subtitles and free admission until full capacity. Don’t miss this powerful tale of resilience and redemption.
