The Town Hall of Estepona is seeking proposals for the economic exploitation of the Mercado de Abastos building, aiming to turn it into a vibrant commercial space offering hotel services, catering, and product sales. The project is envisioned as a key driver for enhancing trade activity in the area, particularly in the historic center of the municipality. With a prime location on Villa Street, the 950-square meter property is set to be leased for a 20-year period, with an annual fee of at least 83,362.16 euros. The selected bidder will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and operational standards, without any financial burden on the Town Council. Originally constructed in 1949, the Estepona Market underwent a major renovation in 2018 to accommodate its new functions. Interested parties have until April 1 to submit their proposals and required documentation.
