Scheduled for April 10 at 9:30 a.m., the Grand Finale of the IV Youth Athletics Championship will take place at the Estepona Athletics Stadium. The Estepona City Council has announced that the final of the ‘IV Children’s Athletics Tournament 2025’ will be held on Thursday, April 10. This event is organized by the Consistory in collaboration with the Estepona Athletics Club and local Secondary Schools. Following the completion of the training phase from February to April, more than 300 1st, 2nd, and 3rd ESO students from ten schools will participate in various tests during the final event. The Municipal Athletics Stadium in Estepona will host the competition starting at 9:30 a.m. The events will include races such as Speed (80/100 m.l.) and Endurance (600/800 m,l.), competitions like Long Jump and Shot Put (3/4* kg male, and 3 kg female), as well as Relay races (4×80/100 m.l.). Winners will be determined based on points accumulated across all tests, with both male and female champions crowned. Medals will be awarded to the top three participants in each category and test. Trophies will also be presented to the top three schools based on the overall scores in each category. Families are welcome to support the participants from the bleachers area.
