Estepona City Council raises runner quota for IV Half Marathon Senda Litoral ‘Trofeo Ikos Andalusia’

Today, the official T-shirt and the kit for the runners were revealed. Registrations for the upcoming race on May 4, which will be live-streamed for the first time, are open until April 30. Estepona City Council has decided to increase the number of participants for the IV Half Marathon Senda Litoral ‘Trofeo Ikos Andalusia’ due to high demand. Luis Gil, the councilman in charge of Sports, announced that the initial 700 spots were quickly filled within a month, leading to an additional 50 spots being made available. Registration can be completed online at https://faalive.com/calendarbd/current. Various categories are available, including U-20, U-23, Senior, Master M-35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, and 70+, as well as a category for individuals with disabilities above 33 percent. The presentation of the official race shirt was conducted by Luis Gil and José Juárez, the technical director, along with sponsors. The race, covering a distance of 21.097 kilometers, will commence at 09:00 from Montemayor Street in Cancelada. The route includes urban areas, coastal paths, and key landmarks in Estepona, with checkpoints, refreshment points, and security measures in place. Buses will be provided for transport to the starting line, but not for return after the race.
