Following a period of public display without objections, the local government of Estepona has launched a call for proposals to manage the food market building. The property, located on Villa Street in the town center, offers 950 square meters of space for commercial activities such as hospitality, catering, and retail. The aim is to boost commerce in the historic area through a high-quality project. The deadline for submitting bids is April 28, with a minimum annual fee of 83,362 euros required for a 20-year concession. The winning bidder must ensure compliance with all legal requirements and will be responsible for the operation’s financial outcomes, without any risk falling on the Municipality. Originally constructed in 1949, the Estepona Market underwent a renovation in 2018 to serve as both a hotel and retail space.
