Women residing in the province of Malaga who are over 16 years old are invited to participate in the XXVI ‘Women’s Epistolary Composition’ Contest. The deadline for submissions is June 30. The main goal of this literary contest is to promote literary culture and enhance women’s involvement in various literary genres. Participants can submit one piece each on the theme of equality, with a chance to win a first prize of 300 euros or a second prize of 150 euros. The letters must be in Spanish, original, and unpublished, and can be addressed to real or imaginary persons or objects. They should not exceed two double-spaced typewritten pages or one side of handwritten text, and must include a title. Full rules are available on the City Hall Bulletin Board and the Municipal Women’s Delegation website. Submissions can be made through the City Council’s Electronic Office or in person at the City Hall. The jury, led by the Councillor for Women and Youth of Estepona, will evaluate the literary quality, approach to equality, and creativity of the entries. The winning letters will be kept by the City Council and may be published if deemed finalists. For inquiries, contact the Municipal Women’s Information Center at City Hall or via email.
