The jury praised the book as ‘imaginative and forceful, showcasing originality in everyday life’. With over 2,300 participants, this literary contest organized by the Estepona City Council offers a prize of 7,000 euros and publication by Pre-Textos. The jury members, including Ana Merino, Carlos Marzal, and Ana Fernández-Villaverde, highlighted the work’s narrative form and contemporary vision. Estepona Mayor, José María García Urbano, emphasized the city’s commitment to culture, with new cultural spaces like the Mirador del Carmen and a vibrant program of activities.
