Taking place on June 14 at the luxurious Beach Resort Mett Hotel, the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Estepona will hold its first Summer Solidarity Dinner. The main objective of this event is to raise funds in order to sustain the free services provided to cancer patients and their families in the local area. Attendees can look forward to a delightful evening featuring a cocktail reception, live music, raffles, and various surprises, all set in a festive and supportive ambiance that aims to unite the community of Estepona for a common cause – enhancing the quality of life for those affected by cancer. Julia Crespo, president of the Estepona branch of the Association, emphasized the significance of this dinner as a symbol of the town’s dedication to supporting cancer patients and their loved ones. Funds raised from the event will enable the continuation of essential services such as psychological assistance, physiotherapy, social aid, provision of orthopedic equipment, workshops, and emotional support programs. The mayor of Estepona, José María García Urbano, expressed his support for the initiative and urged citizens to participate, highlighting the importance of the funds raised for the association’s services. Tickets for the dinner, priced at 85 euros, are available at the Association’s headquarters in Calle Terraza, 170 – Estepona, as well as online. The event has received generous support from local sponsors, including Papelería Acuarela as Gold sponsor, Grupo OV and GolfMakers as Silver sponsors, and Edén Clínica Estética and Grupo ECOS as Bronze sponsors. Companies in Estepona are encouraged to contribute to the charity dinner by purchasing tickets, sponsoring the event, or donating prizes for the raffle. This is an opportunity for businesses to demonstrate their social responsibility and support a cause that impacts the entire community. For further details or to confirm participation, companies can contact the Association at 900 100 036. All members of the community are invited to attend this special evening, where every contribution plays a vital role in the ongoing fight against cancer.
