The art display showcases artworks that blend various artistic styles and incorporate volumes and unconventional tools instead of brushes. Estepona City Hall has announced that the art exhibition by Fernando Lopez Lorrio will be held in Room 2 of Casa de Las Tejerinas until June 18. Following a family tradition, Fernando López Lorrio embarked on his artistic journey in 1996, learning on his own. He has taken painting classes at the Aula de Arte of the University of Alcalá de Henares and completed the course ‘In the Studio: Postwar Abstract Painting’ at the MoMA in New York. Studying different artistic movements, he has focused on abstract expressionism and constructivism, integrating volumes with materials and transforming collage into an experimental space where he explores pure painting without traditional paint, aiming for abstraction through expression. His art draws inspiration from literature, travel literature, urban environments, and both real and fictional landscapes, creating depictions of unattainable realms. The exhibition is open for visitors from Tuesday to Friday, 09:00-20:00, and Saturdays, 09:00-14:00 and 16:00-20:00, with no entrance fee.
