Opening of the Municipal Swimming Pool at Santo Tomás de Aquino Sports Center

The Santo Tomás de Aquino sports center’s municipal swimming pool will be opened to the public and summer course students until September 7. Estepona City Council announced that on Saturday, June 21, the pool will be accessible to everyone. According to Luis Gil, the councilman in charge of sports, the pool, equipped with surveillance and lifeguards, will welcome the general public starting Saturday and students participating in swimming courses, aqua aerobics, aguagym, and water-based activities from Monday, June 23. Operating hours will be from 13:00 to 18:00 on weekdays, and from 11:00 to 20:00 on weekends and holidays, with closures only on July 6 and 16 for the Fair Sunday and the Virgen del Carmen festivities. Admission costs 1.5 euros for children and 2.5 euros for adults, with season tickets available at 40 euros for children and 60 euros for adults. Tickets can be purchased online at reservapista.estepona.es. The safety and lifeguard services will be provided by the same company overseeing beach security, with two lifeguards per shift ensuring the well-being of swimmers and water quality.
