Estepona City Council announced that local author Julio Peces Ruiz, winner of the Ateneo Joven de Sevilla 2025 Award for his book ‘Fundido a negro’, will be signing copies of his latest works during the XXX Summer Book Fair. The signing event will take place this Friday, August 1 at 21:00 hours. Julio Peces Ruiz, born in Estepona in 1992, has been a devoted fan of cinema and literature since childhood. He began writing adventure novels as a teenager and published his first work ‘Blue Sky. La alianza del cielo azul’ at the age of eighteen. Over the years, he has written various novels, books on cinema, and short film scripts, showcasing a more mature writing style. His latest novel ‘Fundido a negro’, a thriller set in the audiovisual world, won him the Ateneo Joven de Sevilla Award in 2025.
