The Estepona City Council has announced that on Thursday, August 14th, at 9:00 p.m., a special performance of the family musical ‘The Wonderful World of Oz’ will take place at Parque de Los Niños. This enchanting tale revolves around friendship and the importance of chasing our dreams, inspired by Lyman Frank Baum’s children’s novel ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’. The production features mesmerizing visual effects and a captivating soundtrack that transports viewers to a magical realm. Follow Dorothy, an orphan swept away to the mystical land of Oz by a cyclone, where she encounters two witches: the good Glinda and the wicked Elphada, former friends turned foes. To escape, she must vanquish the menacing witch aided by newfound companions: a brainless scarecrow, a heartless tin man, and a cowardly lion, each with their own aspirations. Together, they embark on a quest to find the Wizard of Oz and secure Dorothy’s safe passage home, braving numerous challenges along the way.
