The upcoming summer concert will feature a carefully curated selection of superhero movie soundtracks performed by the Municipal Band. Taking place on Sunday, August 17 at 21:00 hours in the Plaza del Reloj, this event is part of the Band’s summer season which will conclude on August 24 at the Plaza del Ajedrez with a special concert dedicated to Miguel Ríos titled ‘Welcome’, featuring Serafín Zubiri. Under the direction of maestro José Antonio López Camacho, the Band has already started its sixteenth season with six free performances showcasing more than fifty works, including pasodobles, TV and movie soundtracks, classical pieces, zarzuelas, and modern popular music. Established in 1940, the Estepona Band is one of the oldest in the country and was honored with the Gold Medal of the City on its 75th anniversary.
