On Saturday, September 6 at 21:00, Maria del Montecarmelo Alvarez Zarzuelo will be signing copies of her first poetry collection, “The obsessions of silence”, at the XXX Summer Book Fair on the Promenade. The fair, which started on July 18 and runs until September 14, features daily signings by local authors from 11:00 to 14:30 and 19:00 to 24:00. The event is organized by ‘Urbano Libros’ in collaboration with the Estepona City Council. Maria del Montecarmelo Álvarez Zarzuelo, originally from Murcia and now living in Malaga, rediscovered her passion for literature in 2008, leading to the creation of her first poetry collection. “The obsessions of silence” explores the concept of silence breaking free and unleashing a torrent of emotions and reflections. It delves into feelings of frustration, anxiety, and loneliness, inviting readers to discover their own moments of silence within its pages.
