The completion of the coastal corridor project is at 95%, linking over 21 kilometers of coastline. Originated by Estepona Town Hall over ten years ago, the project aims to establish a path along the entire municipality coastline. The latest section, from Guadalmina Baja to Casasola, has attracted nine proposals for construction. With necessary authorizations in place, the project includes a 673-meter long paved pedestrian path with a width of 3 meters, connecting Guadalmina River to Atalaya Park Hotel. Companies have bid below the base price of 739,253 euros (VAT included), and the contract award is imminent. The Estepona coastal corridor is nearing completion, with ongoing projects to extend the path in Bahía Dorada and Atalaya. Documentation for Isdabe Atalaya area is complete, awaiting permits, while the Costa Natura section is still in the planning phase.
