‘Healthy Living for Seniors’ is a fresh initiative introduced by the local government to enhance the well-being of older residents in Estepona. The project aims to support active aging by offering a variety of physical, cognitive, cultural, and social activities. With a focus on individuals aged 65 and above, the program seeks to combat social isolation, boost personal autonomy, and elevate overall quality of life. Weekly exercise sessions, informative talks on nutrition, organized outings to scenic locations, and cultural visits are among the diverse range of activities provided. By encouraging participation in these events, the City Council aims to strengthen emotional health, self-esteem, and social cohesion among seniors, fostering a sense of community and vitality within this demographic. To join these activities, interested individuals must register in advance through the Geriatric Office located at 168 Terraza St. Alternatively, inquiries can be made via phone at 952792602 or by sending an email to: geriatrico@estepona.es.
