The municipal government has finalized the necessary steps to proceed with a significant revitalization project for the Estepona-Seghers Port Public Park. The contract for the renovation and enhancement works has been awarded to Ambitec Servicios Ambientales, S.A.U., with a budget of 381,251 euros. The project includes upgrades to pedestrian paths, new playground equipment, street furniture, and an improved irrigation system. Special attention will be given to preserving the existing botanical collection and increasing the number of Mediterranean shrub species. The extensive renovation will involve replacing the pavement and installing modern amenities, such as automatic irrigation and a variety of recreational facilities. The public park, established in 2005, has undergone maintenance over the years, but this upcoming intervention promises a more comprehensive transformation.
