Fifty vehicles will embark on a solidarity expedition to Morocco on Thursday, October 23, starting from the Exhibition and Congress Palace in Estepona. The nine-day journey will test the endurance of participants and vehicles as they traverse the country. This year’s edition of the rally will focus on the new campaign ‘1002 Glasses’, in partnership with gafadeportiva.com. The event, a blend of adventure and solidarity, pays homage to historical motorized crossings of Africa. Organized by Motor Adventure S.L. in collaboration with the City Council, the non-timed competition will see vehicles undergo technical checks before departing for Algeciras port and onward to Africa. Fifty vehicles will participate in two categories: ‘Raid’, featuring small vehicles from the 80s and 90s, and ‘All-Road’, comprising SUVs and 4x4s. The caravan will follow a unique route through Morocco, engaging with local communities and providing eyewear through the ‘1002 Glasses’ campaign to improve their quality of life.
