The vacancies are part of the Public Employment Offer for 2025 and include roles such as Local Police officers, senior architect, civil engineer, industrial engineer, agronomist, and draftsman. The Estepona City Council is in the final stages of recruitment procedures for these positions, aimed at strengthening different areas within the municipality. Currently, there are 24 vacancies in total, with calls at different stages depending on the position. For instance, recruitment for new Local Police positions is already underway, with two processes ongoing to select candidates. In addition, calls for architect, engineer, and draftsman positions are pending publication in official gazettes, with application submission opening soon. The City Council is also moving forward with recruitment for sub-inspector and inspector positions within the Local Police. Since 2011, the Council has been addressing staffing needs, particularly within the police department, with over 60 new agents joining the force during this time. Looking ahead, the 2026 budget includes plans for additional recruitment, this time focusing on administrative staff.
