On the morning of Saturday, November 8, starting at 9:30 a.m., the fourth day of the V Provincial Badminton Circuit Diputación de Málaga 2025 will take place at the Polideportivo El Carmen facilities in Estepona. Over 100 participants, including 40 locals, are expected to participate in this growing sport in Estepona. The Municipal School of Badminton, the young Badminton Club Estepona, and the City Council’s support to minority sports have contributed to the popularity of badminton in the area. Athletes of all levels, whether federated or not, can join the Circuit which features categories such as U-9, U-11, U-13, U-15, U-17, U-19, senior, and absolute. Organized by the Provincial Council of Malaga and the Andalusian Federation of Badminton, this year’s Circuit will see about 500 athletes from different municipalities participating. The Circuit began in Villanueva de Algaidas and has since visited Rincón de la Victoria, Cañete la Real, and now Estepona, with the final stage taking place in Alhaurín el Grande on November 30.
