The Artistic Collaboration: Exhibition by 13 Artists at Casa de Las Tejerinas

The opening of the art exhibition ‘Art and Solidarity Fusion’ is scheduled for this Friday, the 28th, at 6:00 pm, and will run until January 12, 2026. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross to support their social programs. The Estepona City Council has announced that the first room of the Casa de Las Tejerinas in Plaza de Las Flores will feature the group exhibition ‘Art and Solidarity Fusion’ starting this Friday, the 28th. Thirteen artists from the Solidarity Circle of Painters will showcase their works: Ana Martín, Laura Viqueira, Pilar Herrero, Magdalena Romero, Marinetta, Sergio Morón, Megon, Llilli López, Abel Gómez, Julia Gutiérrez, Teodoro Onrubia, Mercedes Martínez Galisteo and Carmen Trella. The exhibition comprises 28 pieces created using various techniques such as watercolor, oil, acrylic, recycled materials on canvas, mixed media, collage, and more. Ten percent of the sales will be donated by the Association to the Red Cross in support of their social projects. The exhibition inauguration will take place at 6:00 pm and will be open for visits until January 12, 2026, from Tuesday to Friday, 09:00 to 20:00, and Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00, with free entry. The Solidarity Circle of Painters is a non-profit Cultural and Solidarity Association based in Madrid with a national reach. Established in 2016, it has 140 members including painters, photographers, and both professional and amateur sculptors. The Association aims to serve as a platform for the development and promotion of affiliated artists, to promote art and plastic arts, and to ensure that art contributes positively to our cultural and social environment. Their activities include individual and group exhibitions, workshops, cultural visits, and training programs. They currently collaborate with the Spanish Red Cross and the Philippe Cousteau Foundation ‘Union of the Oceans’. Through art and social initiatives, the Association seeks to raise awareness and social responsibility by reflecting on the living conditions of others.
