On the evening of Friday, December 12, at 7:30 p.m., the choir will showcase a Christmas concert at the Mirador del Carmen Cultural Center, with free admission. Estepona City Council has announced that the event will be a fundraiser for the CUDECA Foundation, which provides palliative care. The program will feature a selection of Christmas carols and popular tunes, all conducted by Shirley Helleur. Since its establishment in September 2017, the ‘Passion for Music’ choir has been performing community concerts in the local area to support various charities, including ADANA, St George’s, Somos tu Ola, AGYA Asociación Gatos y Amigos, and of course, the Cudeca Foundation. The choir, currently led by Shirley Helleur, consists of over 45 members from different countries, rehearsing weekly and welcoming new experienced singers. Their repertoire covers a wide range of genres, from classical to pop, rock, and musical theater.
