On the upcoming Friday, December 19, at 6:00 p.m., there will be a presentation of the poetic trilogy ‘Seasons and Verses’ by Estepona writer Salvador Gomez Mena. The event will take place at the Alfonso Gil Alfonso Hall of Casa de Las Tejerinas, situated in Plaza de Las Flores. The trilogy includes the poetry books ‘Half a Song of Autumn’, ‘Seven Summers in One Spring’, and ‘The Winter of Daisies’. Salvador Gómez Mena, born in Estepona in 1970, hails from a modest family of fishermen and learned values like education, respect, and kindness from his parents, Antonio Gómez and Salvi Mena. A father of two daughters, Alba and Nydia, he takes pride in his hometown of Estepona. After completing his primary education at Victor de la Serna Public School, it took him two decades to pursue his passion for writing and storytelling. His literary journey began with poetry, including works like ‘Hearts of Dawn’ and novels like ‘Marbas and the Book of Light’. Over the years, he has expanded his repertoire with various works and styles, contributing to charity projects like the poetry book ‘Christmas Lyric’ to aid the needy and war victims in Ukraine. Currently, Salvador is focused on writing scripts for his stories alongside his other commitments. With 14 published works to his name, ranging from poetry to thrillers and novels, he continues to captivate readers with his creativity and imagination.
