The Casa de Las Tejerinas is currently showcasing the pictorial exhibition ‘Crimson Readings’ by Ana Villalobos, a Barcelona artist based in Estepona. The exhibition, featuring 16 medium and large format works, will be open to the public from December 18 to January 12. Visitors can explore the artwork in Room 2 of Casa de Las Tejerinas, situated in the Plaza de las Flores, during the following hours: Tuesday to Friday from 09:00 to 20:00, and Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00. Ana Villalobos, a self-taught visual artist, specializes in collage using out-of-print book pages on recycled materials like wood, cardboard, and canvases. Her pieces often center around the female form, delving into emotions and juxtaposing traditional and modern elements. Villalobos’ unique style has been featured in various solo and group exhibitions, including venues like the Botanical Garden of Malaga and Artlocker during the arts week in Malaga.
