As part of the municipal cultural program, a renowned dancer and choreographer, Agustin Barajas, will be offering a free workshop on body expression titled ‘Movement is spirit: introduction to flamenco dance’ at the Library of Contemporary Cultures. Scheduled for February 18 at 20:00 hours, the workshop aims to explore flamenco through body and movement as tools of expression, welcoming both experienced individuals and those interested in discovering the language of flamenco dance. Born in Granada in 1988, Agustín Barajas boasts a solid artistic background, having trained with prominent figures and performed internationally. He is well-known for his work on the popular TV show ‘Se llama Copla’ and has created various productions of his own. Committed to teaching, Barajas has imparted classes at esteemed institutions and continues to showcase his talent at flamenco tablaos in Granada.
