Estepona City Council has announced that the workshop ‘Write your literary CV’, led by the writer, editor, and poet Violeta Niebla, will take place at the Library of Contemporary Cultures on February 12 at 6:00 pm. This event is part of the library’s cultural program for the first quarter. Participants will have the opportunity to explore creative writing by transforming personal and professional experiences into written form. Following the workshop, at 8:00 pm, Violeta Niebla will introduce her debut novel ‘Todo lo que hice por dinero’ (Everything I did for money), adding to her impressive career merging literature, critical thinking, and life wisdom. Born in Malaga in 1981, Violeta Niebla is a multifaceted artist, working as a writer, photographer, and cultural manager. She co-directs the International Poetry Festival of Malaga Irreconciliables, leads poetry workshops and reading clubs at the University of Malaga, and conducts a narrative workshop within the Fuentetaja group. Additionally, she has received grants and artistic residencies for her visual art, showcasing her work in Spain and internationally. Violeta Niebla is also a co-editor of the Letra Canina collection by Letraversal publishing house and contributes a weekly column to Diario Sur. She has contributed to various anthologies and literary magazines, and has authored poetry collections such as ‘No serás mi baby’ (Kriller 71, 2015) and ‘COMPRO ORO’ (Letraversal, 2020), as well as the photobook ‘YO SOY LA FUENTE’ (Cántico 2022). ‘Todo lo que hice por dinero’, the novel she will present in Estepona, was published in 2025 by Blackie Books.
