Embracing Hearts: Family Storytelling at Children’s Room ‘Elvira Lindo’

The upcoming event ‘Stories that embrace the heart’ will be held at the Children’s Room ‘Elvira Lindo’ of the Padre Manuel Cultural Center Library in Estepona. The storytelling session by Vanessa Lopez Morales is tailored for children aged 3 to 8 and will take place on Thursday, February 26, at 11:30 a.m. Admission is free until full capacity is reached. The interactive gathering aims to promote values like empathy, affection, friendship, and self-esteem through engaging stories. Vanessa Lopez Morales, a specialized teacher in Hearing and Language, will lead the session, incorporating pedagogical expertise and communication strategies suitable for children. This event is part of the Municipal Library’s ongoing reading promotion program, encouraging early exposure to books and storytelling for children to foster a love for reading and family enjoyment. Additionally, the library offers activities for young and adult audiences, such as the monthly philosophical conversation group ‘Philosophy and Ideas’ for those interested in critical thinking and text analysis. To participate in the group, individuals can register by emailing biblioteca@estepona.es. Through these diverse initiatives, the Municipal Library in Estepona continues to serve as a cultural hub, facilitating intergenerational connections and citizen engagement with activities catering to various ages and interests.
