The cycling tour in Estepona to celebrate the renowned Los Reales-Peñas Blancas ascent as a ‘Mythical’ route by the Spanish Cycling Federation will be held on Sunday, March 22, starting at 08.00 hours from the Fair and Sports Park, covering a distance of 23 kilometers. Participation is free and registrations can be completed at dorsalchip.es. The non-competitive Marcha Cicloturista, with a recreational nature, will include a 23-kilometer route passing through a 4.6-kilometer street circuit before ascending to Los Reales-Peñas Blancas via the MA-8301 road spanning approximately 19.4000 kilometers. The event will kick off at 08.00 hours from the Fair and Sports Park. Registration is open to individuals over 15 years of age or turning 15 in 2026, with minors under 18 requiring a signed authorization from a parent or guardian. Interested participants can register until March 20 at dorsalchip.es, with liability insurance included. On-site registrations may be accepted on the day of the event from 07.30 to 07.50 hours, limited to a maximum of 300 participants. The cycling route will pass through San Eusebio street, Guillermo Cabrera street, Los Reales avenue, Andalusia avenue, Spain avenue, Terraza street, Andalusia avenue, Los Reales avenue, and MA-8301 (towards the Puerto de Peñas Blancas and concluding at the Salvador Guerrero square). Information panels along the route, approved by the Spanish Cycling Federation, will highlight the ‘Mythical’ status of the journey.
