Estepona’s City Council announces that on Friday, March 20, at 18.00 hours, Ana Paula Mena, a local writer, will unveil her poetry collection ‘Infinite Wings’ (From pain to flight: a true story told in verse). The book, which has already seen impressive sales in its early days, is described by the author as a tribute to those who have faced darkness while holding onto love, beauty, and inner growth. ‘Infinite Wings’ narrates a profound personal transformation through spiritual and poetic language, chronicling a woman’s journey from shadows to healing, ultimately finding the strength to soar. Each poem serves as a beacon of hope, signifying rebirth, self-reconnection, and the possibility of harmony and purpose amidst chaos. Ana Paula Mena’s book features a prologue by Waltraud Plank Arteaga, an epilogue by Agustín Hervás Cobo, and illustrations by Daniela Rojas. Born in Malaga and raised between Malaga and Marbella, Mena discovered her passion for literature and art at a young age. She leads Estepona’s Poetic Group with dedication and love for words, establishing herself as a writer within the community. A member of the National Union of Writers of Spain (UNEE) and the World Hispanic Writers Union (UHE), Mena has received prestigious awards such as the García Fajer Foundation Prize and the Golden Eagle Prize. Her works have been featured in various anthologies and literary magazines, showcasing her talent and originality. Mena’s literary journey has been shaped by her education under renowned poets and her commitment to personal growth through coaching. She actively engages in promoting culture and literature, participating in international book fairs, serving as a literary judge, and sharing her poetry in esteemed venues.
